Description

Formed in 1979 by the McIntosh Foundation, The Boat Company is the only non-profit educational organization offering luxury eco-friendly cruises in Southeast Alaska. With nearly 40 years of sailing and a strong commitment to Alaska's Inside Passage, The Boat Company has invested between 25 and 30 million dollars in conservation efforts across the region. The itineraries are always flexible and tailored to suit the interests of the passengers.
With one crew member for every two guests, the service is very attentive and personal. The experiences on a cruise of this type are incredible: kayaking, trolling for king salmon or halibut, doing challenging hikes through forests, taking calm walks in the meadows, cooking fish, playing games, having conversations about nature and whale watching. It is a very special cruise experience which allows you to experience the true beauty of Alaska through a unique and educational concept of cruising.
