Viking Gymir, built-in 2022, with a length of approximately 135 meters, accommodates 190 passengers in its 95 cabins. The name is inspired by Gymir, a wealthy Jötunn (a race of giants in Norse mythology) who, according to some, is the same mythological figure as Aegir, the giant sea god. According to legend, Gymir is highly respected by the gods for his excellent beers and festivities. He is also the father of the beautiful giantess Geror, the wife of the harvest god Freyr.
The ship offers 95 comfortable exterior cabins in 5 categories. All suites feature two standard-sized rooms with a veranda off the living room and a French balcony in the bedroom. Onboard, you'll find a restaurant, a lounge/bar, a library, the onboard shop, and the Aquavit Terrace & Lounge, along with a lovely Sun deck with a shaded seating area.
