Cruise number 53 Costa Cruises – Costa Deliziosa 3rd November - 10th November 2019 Cabin number: 8337 - midship , Deck 8 - Premier Balcony Cabin Total pax : 2011 , Crew : 1100 : Decks : 16 It has been over 9yrs since she was launched and I first cruised on this particular ship. So was interesting to see how it has been refurbed and rebranded to adapt to the new style cruise packages that Costa now have implemented. The check in process in Venice is frenetic, the local authorities have not invested into the infrastructure so be prepared for long waiting periods and a lot of triple and quad checks. Saying that it does move along. In total from time we were dropped off to completing lunch and having cabin ready was a good 4 hours. Not bad given the security situation. Cabin was ready and the wonderful Dennis from Mumbai was at hand to welcome us with a complimentary bottle of Ferrari Champagn
